Nelson was a commissioned painting for a client who has a summer home in the city of Nelson located in the Selkirk Mountains in British Columbia, Canada. I love how the dock and breakwater stretch out onto Kootenay Lake and reflect the fiery sunsets in the sky above. This vibrant acrylic painting now hangs in their Vancouver home reminding them of one of their favourite vacation spots year round.
