For this large painting, the client requested a Canadian landscape in a cool-toned colour palette that would transform his cinema room. In order to create the most impact, we agreed that it needed to be a panorama with 2 canvases joining in the corner of the room. Selecting the right landscape that would work within our measurements and the room became the next challenge. Once I came across Vermillion Lakes outside of Banff, BC I knew it would work perfectly within that room. This painting is the largest piece I have worked on to date and the most rewarding to see complete. Phase two will be adding in projections of the Northern Lights over the sky!
