This painting was inspired by the vibrant beauty and layered and lush landscapes of Rancho Mirage in California. I painted this while dreaming of warm tropical climates and living through the cold Canadian winters. Little did I know that one year later I would move to California! Palm Springs is my little corner of paradise and I hope that you feel that warmth when looking at this painting.
